On this Page we announce the
winner of the Seedling of the Year [S.O.T.Y.] for 2005 which was picked by 9
Judges from the 22 blooms from the 3 TPC competitions in 2005.
The winner is Miss Liberty X
Tahitian Magenta Beauty and was bred and entered in the competition by Richard
Johnson from Tahiti, with an average of 77.25 points, and he wins the Black
Pearl kindly donated by himself.
This bloom and together with the next top nine [9] winners will be entrants in
the Hibiscus of the Year competition, and will be grown at the 3 trialling
stations for next 3 years.
Congratulations to Richard Johnson on winning the Seedling of the Year for 2005.
